Become an NASM Weight Loss Specialist (WLS) and effectively help clients lose weight and improve their health.
As an NASM WLS you’ll apply the physiology and psychology of weight loss, nutrition, exercise guidelines, and relevant assessments to design weight loss exercise programs using NASM’s Optimum Performance Training ™ (OPT™) model for clients ranging from moderately overweight to morbidly obese.
Grow your career. With the WLS, you’ll have a clear-cut advantage to promote your expertise to clients who are ready to make a change. This includes the more than half of health club members who are there trying to lose or maintain their weight.
